Introduction
Dost is an 18+ platform that facilitates encrypted video calls and voice calls between Speakers and Listeners.
The platform is designed for social interaction and counseling purposes.
All communications are end-to-end encrypted.
Dost does not access, monitor, store, or record the content of your calls.
Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) to use the App.
- By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are of legal age and have full legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
- Dost does not ask for or perform any age verification using identification documents.
- You are solely responsible for ensuring you meet the minimum age requirement.
- Any false representation of age may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of your account.
- The App is strictly for users 18 years and above. Any interaction involving minors is strictly prohibited.
User Accounts
- You must create an account to use the Service.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You may only have one account unless otherwise permitted by us.
- You must provide accurate, truthful, and complete information during registration.
- You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
Services
- Speakers: Users who initiate or host video/voice calls.
- Listeners: Users who join calls to listen or participate.
- All calls are end-to-end encrypted. Dost has no access to call content.
- The App may offer paid features, subscriptions, or in-app purchases.
- All payments are final and non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
User Conduct & Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Engage in or promote any illegal activities (including child sexual abuse material, exploitation, fraud, harassment, threats, or violence).
- Share or request any content involving minors (under 18).
- Impersonate others or create fake profiles.
- Use the platform for scams, financial fraud, or catfishing.
- Record, stream, or share calls without explicit consent of all participants.
- Spam, solicit, or advertise outside permitted areas.
- Transmit malware, viruses, or harmful code.
- Harass, bully, or abuse other users.
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
Important: While adult consensual interactions are allowed, you must always obtain clear and ongoing consent from all participants. Non-consensual activities are strictly prohibited.
Content Responsibility
You are solely responsible for your conduct and any content (audio, video, text, images) you transmit or share.
Due to end-to-end encryption, Dost does not monitor or moderate call content.
You use the Service at your own risk.
Privacy & Data Protection
We collect only the minimum data necessary for the functioning of the App.
Call content is end-to-end encrypted and inaccessible to Dost.
By using the App, you consent to the collection and processing of your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
Intellectual Property
The App and its content (except user-generated content) are owned by or licensed to Dost.
You grant Dost a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host and display your profile content for operating the Service.
Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without any warranties.
Dost is not responsible for any interactions or outcomes between users.
Dost has no visibility into call content due to encryption and bears no liability for what happens during calls.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dost’s total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the past 12 months.
Risk Acknowledgment
- This is a communication platform with inherent risks.
- You should exercise caution when interacting with strangers.
- You are responsible for your own safety and well-being.
- Meeting users offline is done entirely at your own risk.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason.
You may delete your account at any time through the App settings.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the new Terms.
We will notify you of any material changes
